Children’s Day Celebration in Star Learners @ Jurong
This is a backdated post due to some personal matters & revamping of my blog. So back in October, it was Children’s Day! We have decided to give the children at Star Learners, Jurong surprises! 1st, was the goodies bags. With the help of the husband in getting the simple stickers done and the boys for helping in the packing 🙂
The 2nd surprise was, i had engaged Mr Egg to the Children’s Day Celebration! It was a collaboration and partial sponsorship deal. I am thankful and glad that he was willing to be part of the celebration 🙂 Also, appreciated his generosity in giving every student a little gift! Thank you Mr Egg for the sweet thought! As you know, almost every children loves balloons! So Mr Egg, doing the balloon sculpting alone for 56 students! 😀
The cheeky and funny part was while Mr Egg was trying to finish his balloon sculpturing, each time he blew up a balloon, the students cheered and clapped for him! The cheeky ones probably done it closed to 10 times? 😀 Just simple gestures from the students, they put a wide smile on Mr Egg’s face! 😀
Young children are good in keeping themselves entertained or also, entertaining others! They also reminded me that the reason why young children tend to smile or laugh at the smallest act or thing, is because they’re stress-free! Which at times, can make the adults happy too because often we are feeling stressed and/or having tons of worries in mind that we’ve forgotten to smile or to laugh.
First, it was the puppet show! Which got the students and teachers excited, wondering who and what was in the box. Mr Egg was good in engaging the students to involving them in the show by making guesses of what was hidden inside the black box 🙂 Not only engagement, he was able to manage the students well when some was a little misbehaved. Thumbs-up!
The students are amazed that Mr Egg’s puppet can “talk”! Haha! I was impressed too as ventriloquism can takes a really long time to do it well. I felt breathless upon seeing how Mr Egg changes his voice then to the puppet’s. As like many others, i thought being an entertainer was a pretty easy job, but i was wrong.
When the students saw the rabbit puppet popping out, majorities stood up, screamed with excitement and wanting to touches it! Haha! Not just the students and teachers enjoying themselves, even i also had a good laugh! 😀
Next up was the magic show! Mr Egg invited a few students up infront to perform with him.
The whole entertainment went really well and Mr Egg ended it well too! Giving each student a little gift 🙂 A simple yet meaningful childhood game that i used to play too! 😀
Glad that the celebration turned out a great success that everyone enjoyed themselves! Once again, have to thank Mr Egg for his generosity, great entertainment & shows, the little gift and a balloon sculpture for every student too! On behalf of the school, thank you for giving us so much joys and laughters in the 45 minutes! Till today, the students still remember who is Mr Egg!
How can we not take a group shot yea?! 😀
Mr Egg isn’t anyone new in this entertainment industry. Since i was a teenager, already started hearing about him. As i didn’t have the chance to engage him in any of my past events, hence approached him for this celebration.
